- Most third-party pods are incompatible.
My Favorites
Personal favorites from each of the two product offerings are as follows:
The K55 is my favorite Keurig 1.0 model.
We can brew coffee in under a minute with the K55 brewing machine! It comes with the 1.0 line’s largest reservoir: 48 ounces. With each refill, you’ll go through roughly 6 cups of coffee.
The Auto Brew feature on the Keurig K55 allows you to specify a time for it to begin brewing coffee automatically.
The upkeep is simple. Descaling is a feature on the K55 that takes care of these little annoying mineral deposits. Cleaning up spills is also simple, thanks to the retractable drip tray. Overall, the K55 is the pinnacle of the Keurig 1.0 series.
The K575 is my favorite Keurig 2.0 model.
The K575 has all of the functionality you’d expect from a contemporary coffee machine. It has an 80-ounce reservoir, which means you can make Ten or even more cups before having to replenish it.
It has a vast colored touch display with navigational cues. The K575 also has extra features, including “Hot Water on Demand” and “Auto-Off.” It has a removable drip tray, just like the K55, for more straightforward cleaning.
What to Look For?
It all boils down to individual tastes when determining which product line to purchase, like:
- If all you want is a quick and easy way to make a nice cup of coffee, a Keurig 1.0 coffee machine is the way to go.

The Final Word
So, which option do we believe you should take? We believe the Keurig 2.0 is superior to the Keurig 1.0. It is because the Keurig 2.0 is simple to use, clean, and prepares excellent coffee.
